Epoxy Resin does have a shelf life, but reaching the printed date does not always mean the material suddenly becomes unusable on that day.

Shelf life refers to storage before use. Working life begins after components are mixed. Gel time describes how quickly the mixture loses flow. Cure time describes how the applied material develops hardness and performance.
